At around 10 p.m. Monday, police responded to a call about a shooting at an apartment complex in the 1600 block of East McKinney Street.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim with gunshot wounds in the parking lot. Officers attempted life-saving measures until paramedics arrived, according to the release.
