Denver bakes in 100-degree weather, with snow forecast Tuesday

Denver must be high.

The Mile High City faces an extraordinary weather shift, according to meteorologists, as temperatures in the Colorado capital are forecast to plunge from a Saturday high of 100 degrees to a Tuesday low of 28 degrees. Snow is predicted Tuesday.

On Monday, the mercury is expected to peak at 93 degrees before miraculously plummeting to 33 degrees, according to The Weather Channel.

Temperatures are forecast to rise back into the low 50s by Wednesday before returning to summery conditions in the low 80s by next weekend.
