Denver looks to expand city-sanctioned campsites to address homelessness

Estimates show a 30 percent surge in homelessness in Denver, Colorado during the pandemic. The city launched a program of city-sanctioned campsites in December 2020, which include security and daily meals, with the ultimate goal to get people out of tents and into homes.
