Denver weather: 60s and sunshine for leap day

Weather tonight: Clear and mild
The sky will remain mostly cloudless by Thursday night, with overnight lows in the lower 30s and light winds.
Looking ahead: Warming before Sunday showers
Friday is even warmer as temperatures top out in the middle 60s with plenty of sunshine.
Saturday continues that mild forecast with sunny skies and highs in the mid-60s. By late Saturday, snow will move into the mountains and linger into most of Sunday.
Sunday brings some changes to the Front Range with showers in the morning. It will be a mix of rain and snow. Temperatures still make it to the mid-50s by Sunday afternoon, however, no accumulation is expected or it will melt fast.
Monday could see extra clouds and some light flurries north of the metro as highs are cooler in the upper 40s.
Denver will warm back to above-average high temperatures on Tuesday with highs in the low 50s.
The mainly sunny skies stick around through Wednesday afternoon with above-average highs in the middle 50s.
