CALLIE ZANANDRIE: Good morning, and happy Saturday to you. I'm Callie Zanandrie with a look at your weekend forecast. Taking you outside to Lookout Mountain this morning, currently 27 degrees with lots of sunshine to start your Saturday. At the airport, 28, downtown, 40 degrees, and winds are out of the west at 6 miles per hour. Our Weather Watcher, Pam, reporting 30 degrees from her home in Littleton this morning.
Taking you up to Keystone now, where they picked up 3 inches of fresh powder overnight from that latest storm system. Steamboat the big winner, picking up 5 inches of new snow. Copper, Loveland, Winter Park, Telluride all picked up 3 inches, and A-Basin, 2 inches of fresh powder.
To put the futurecast into motion, that storm system that brought rain and snow overnight has pushed on out, making way for high pressure to build in today, keeping things sunny and warm. And that will continue through your Sunday. We'll have dry conditions and mostly sunny skies. And then into Monday, we will have high pressure dominate our weather before a big change comes our way on Tuesday.
Temperatures today, 52 at the airport, out on the Eastern Plains, 55 in Burlington, 50 in Limon, up in the high country, 30s and 40s, and 57 in Grand Junction. Overnight tonight, 20s and 30s here in the Denver metro area, and on the eastern plains, in the upper 20s, up in the high country, teens and 20s, and on the Western Slope, 32 in Grand Junction.
Tomorrow-- check this out-- even nicer than today. 66 in Fort Collins, 64 in Boulder. On the Eastern Plains, we'll even see some 70s, 73 in Lamar, and 71 in Wray. Up in the high country, 40s and 50s, so definitely want to pack that sunscreen if you're going up to do some skiing or riding because we'll have lots of spring-like conditions up there, and 64 in Grand Junction tomorrow.
So today, 52, tomorrow, 64, Monday, 73, but it will be windy ahead of that next storm system that makes its way here on Tuesday. So check that out-- 38 degrees on Tuesday. But then we rebound quickly. By Thursday, we'll be in the 60s for the start of April and then into the 70s for the first weekend in April.
Have a great day.
