Former Impact Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo has signed with AEW.

Purrazzo made her surprise debut on Dynamite on Wednesday (January 3), interrupting Mariah May following her match with Queen Amina.

After May said she was unhappy her debut match happened in New Jersey, Purrazzo, who's from the Garden State, confronted her and laid her out.

Purrazzo then said she had her sights set on AEW Women's Champion Toni Storm.

On X, AEW owner Tony Khan announced Purrazzo had signed with the company, writing: "It's official: @DeonnaPurrazzo is ALL ELITE! What a great moment for the hometown hero, The Virtuosa TONIGHT on @TBSNetwork on Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite!"

Purrazzo then shared the post and added: "A dream come true."

Before her tenure in AEW, Purrazzo was signed to WWE, working on NXT until she was released from her contract in 2020.

Speaking to Digital Spy in 2021, Purrazzo revealed which women in AEW she'd most like to work with.

"First and foremost [I'd like to face] Britt Baker, she's the AEW Women's Champion and she's my best friend," Purrazzo said.

"That would be really fun on a personal level. I'd love to face Hikaru Shida, because I think she's absolutely a phenomenal.

"They have such a stacked roster. It's just about how I could mix and match but obviously I would want to be the AEW Women's Champion first and foremost."
