Deputies investigating hit-and-run crash in Jefferson Township

Deputies are investigating a hit-and-run crash that happened in Jefferson Twp. Monday afternoon.

At approximately 12:40 p.m., deputies responded to the 1200 block of Liscum Drive in reference to a hit-and-run crash, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Upon arrival, deputies found a green 2014 Chevrolet Cruze with its passenger’s side wheels on top of the driver’s side of a 2002 black Cadillac, the sheriff’s office said.

Both vehicles were unoccupied.

The Chevrolet Cruze, possibly driven by a younger male who had fled the scene before deputies’ arrival, was heading southbound on Liscum Drive and struck the unoccupied parked Cadillac on the westside of the roadway, according to the sheriff’s office.

Additional details were not released. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
