Deputies: School bell stolen from Calhoun Co. cemetery

CLARENCE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Deputies say an old school bell was stolen from cemetery grounds in Clarence Township.

It happened at Hunt Cemetery, located on the 25000 block of V Drive North near 26 Mile Road, according to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say the bell, a remnant of the school that was once located there, holds sentimental value. It was stolen sometime in the past week, according to a Thursday release.
