Deputies seize meth, oxy and guns at Georgia home after months-long investigation

A 61-year-old man is now behind bars after deputies say he had illegal drugs in his home.

Monroe County investigators reportedly received multiple complaints over the past three months about a home involving illegal drug activity.

Investigators and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the home on Big Buck Trail.

Investigators allegedly found 90 grams of methamphetamine, oxycodone, marijuana, drug-related items and three guns.

Deputies arrested the homeowner, Harvey Ray Roberts Jr. and he was taken to the Monroe County Jail.

Roberts is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, three counts of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug-related objects with more charges pending.

“Ray’s One Stop Shop has officially closed,” the sheriff’s office said.
