MATT HARMON: There's a lot of risk with Derrick Henry. I mean, he's not going to be a comfortable draft pick this year. He's extremely volatile in his own right. I mean, he's a guy who's gotten a ton of carries. He's getting up there in age. He certainly crossed any of those like rush attempt thresholds that people freak out about with their fantasy backs or whatever.
There's also the matter, too, that I think the Titans are kind of volatile overall as a team. I mean, they're changing over their passing game a little bit with Treylon Burks replacing AJ Brown. I mean, I don't think Treylon Burks is going to be as good as AJ Brown this year. You know, Ryan Tannehill is still the quarterback.
They kind of doubled down on this Derrick Henry-centric identity, which is great. Like that means that Derrick Henry is going to get a ton of work on the ground. But at the same time, like, the risk, the volatility, that's all there.
Derrick Henry was legitimately winning you leagues when he was healthy last year. And I think there's a chance he could do that again, but for how long? Is he going to get hurt again? Even if he's not a comfortable pick right now, I'm still ranking him as my running back four this year. But I might rather take a wide receiver like Cooper Kupp, Justin Jefferson, Ja'Marr Chase, maybe even Stefon Diggs over him in the first round this year.
