Des Moines man killed on I-80 after being struck by a vehicle Sunday night
A man hit by a vehicle near Altoona on Sunday night has died.
A vehicle was traveling westbound in the center lane of Interstate 80 around 8:30 p.m. when it hit Des Moines resident Perry Dodds. The accident took place near the exit to U.S. Highway 65.
Dodds, 36, according to the crash report, was standing in the center lane and was wearing all dark clothing. He was killed on impact.
