Roughly 15 people with flags displaying Nazi insignia gathered outside Walt Disney World theme park last weekend, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, many also waving flags displayed with support for Gov. Ron DeSantis.

And four days later, the governor has still yet to make a public comment about the situation.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the demonstration, with ended after two hours with zero arrests.

"We are aware of these groups that aim to agitate and incite people with anti-Semitic symbols and slurs. They are also aware of the law," the office said in a statement. "The Orange County Sheriff’s Office deplores hate speech in any form, but people have the First Amendment right to demonstrate."

In the days after the incident, some notable figures within politics and pop culture have condemned those involved, some even calling out DeSantis for his silence. The DeSantis campaign and Walt Disney World have also not publicly commented on the matter.

History of DeSantis's comments on Nazis: DeSantis vs the Nazis: When has Florida's governor spoken out against antisemitism?

Here are some of the prominent voices who have spoken out so far:

Rep. Anna Eskamani

Florida Rep. Anna Eskamani of Orlando shared a number of images of the scene on social media, denouncing the act.

"It's absolutely disgusting to see what has become a common presence of Nazis in Florida, and even more disturbing when they are holding signs and flags that signal support for people like Governor DeSantis," Eskamani said. "Every person, regardless of political ideology, should condemn this. Florida is a state built on diversity and we will always stand against bigotry and hate.

Former Rep. Carlos Guillermo Smith

The former Florida representative of Orlando and current candidate for Senate shared a message to followers over the weekend, with Guillermo Smith writing:

"Ron DeSantis hates Nazis. The problem is he may hate Disney for their support of LGBTQ people ever more. That's why he won't condemn this hateful message welcoming thousands of Florida tourists outside the Magic Kingdom."

"We are better than this."

Sen. Rick Scott

Senator Rick Scott denounced the demonstration on social media on Monday and showed support for the Jewish community, saying this isn't what the state stands for.

"Anti-Semitism has no place in our state, and we will always stand with the Jewish community in condemning heinous displays of hatred like this."

The former state governor has previously condemned anti-semitic acts. After a neo-Nazi demonstration in Orlando in January last year that Senator Rick Scott called "hateful and anti-Semitic" and said it had "no place in our state,"

Former Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Nikki Fried

Florida Democrats’ state chair Nikki Fried shared an article about the demonstration and claimed that the governor is aligning himself with the protestors by remaining silent.

Abigail Disney, granddaughter of Roy Disney

Despite the Walt Disney Company not making a statement on the matter, Disney heiress Abigail Disney posted a comeback to their entire situation on her Twitter, quote-tweeting one of Eskamani's videos.

"My grandfather is spinning in his grave," she wrote over a video of the people waving the signs.

She is referring to her grandfather Roy O. Disney, co-founder of The Walt Disney Company and brother to Walt Disney.
