The newcomers join an already-stacked cast, including pop star Rita Ora as the Queen of Hearts and superstar Brandy, who reprises her iconic role as Cinderella for the first time since Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella in 1997.

The movie musical follows polar opposites Red (the rebellious daughter of the Queen of Hearts, played by Kylie Cantrall) and Chloe (the perfectionist daughter of Cinderella, played by Malia Baker) as they join forces and journey back in time to reverse the Queen of Hearts' villainous conquest of Auradon.

Melanie Paxson, who played the Fairy Godmother in the original trilogy, is also slated to return.

Following the film's announcement last year, director Jennifer Phang said in a statement: "The Pocketwatch presents a delightful canvas with fantastical world-building.

"Musicals sparked my imagination when I was a kid and are a huge part of what drew me to filmmaking. I think that's because they have a way of conveying these lovely, nuanced ideas through song and expressive movement. So I really jumped at the chance to craft a supercharged musical experience and explore some new, invigorating themes inside an expansive Disney universe."

The Pocketwatch will stream exclusively on Disney+.
