Designer Misha Nonoo Is Engaged to the Heir of Hess Oil
The party continues for Misha Nonoo. The designer, recently known as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s supposed matchmaker, is engaged to oil heir Michael Hess.
Hess took to Instagram this week to share a photo from his romantic proposal, which took place on a boat in Cabo San Lucas on Valentine’s Day (via the Daily Mail). “Thank you for making all my dreams come true,” he captioned the photo. “I am so in love with you, and I feel so lucky I get to spend the rest of my life with you right beside me.”
Nonoo, of course, along with Ralph Lauren publicist Violet von Westenholz, was one of the preliminary names speculated to have introduced the British royal to the former Suits actress. Coincidentally in terms of timing, Nonoo was also one of the guests to join Markle for her intimate baby shower in New York City on February 19.

Nonoo, along with stylist Jessica Mulroney, actress Priyanka Chopra and tennis champion Serena Williams, are all believed to be among the faces at Markle’s stateside shower. Some of the listed names also joined the expectant mom for her bridal shower last spring at the Soho Farmhouse in the London countryside.
It will be the second marriage for Nonoo, who was previously with Alexander Gilkes.
