FORT WALTON BEACH — The threat of rain could not dampen the spirits of people who lined Eglin Parkway on Monday night to watch the 2021 Fort Walton Beach Christmas Parade.

More than 60 entries brought the holiday cheer with music, candies and beads.

The annual Fort Walton Beach Christmas Parade was able to dodge the rain Monday night to entertain young and old along Eglin Parkway.

The 50-plus years tradition is organized by the city's Parks and Recreation Department.
