Police continued their search Saturday for Danelo Cavalcante, a convicted murderer who escaped from Chester County Prison in Pennsylvania late last month.
The fugitive was spotted twice within the search area on Friday, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Cavalcante, a 34-year-old man from Brazil, was recently sentenced to life in prison without parole for fatally stabbing 33-year-old Deborah Brandao, his former girlfriend, while her 7-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son were present in 2021. He was awaiting transfer to a state facility when he escaped Chester County Prison last week.
