Detective on ‘I-5 Strangler’ case says he believes Kibbe responsible for other murders

The convicted "I-5 Strangler" Roger Kibbe was strangled to death inside Mule Street State Prison, according to an autopsy performed by the Sacramento County Coroner's Office. Kibbe was sentenced to state prison in 2009 from San Joaquin County to serve life without the possibility of parole for two counts of first-degree murder. A decade earlier in 1991, he was sentenced in El Dorado County to serve a consecutive life-with-parole sentence for first-degree murder. KCRA 3 sat down with one of the detectives who solved the case and brought Kibbe to justice. See more in the video above.
