MINNEAPOLIS — The Detroit Lions will have their full slate of offensive playmakers for today's NFC North showdown with the Minnesota Vikings.

Running back D'Andre Swift and tight end T.J. Hockenson are active after missing practice time this week with ankle and hip injuries, respectively.

Swift did not practice Wednesday and was limited Thursday and Friday by a sprained ankle he suffered in the first half of a Week 1 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He played 31 snaps in last week's win over the Washington Commanders and had 87 yards from scrimmage, but running backs coach Duce Staley said Swift has the type of injury that "just doesn’t get better like that, so could be some lingering pain there."

Swift leads the Lions and ranks fourth in the NFL with 200 yards rushing.

Hockenson was limited in practice all three days last week.

Pro Bowl center Frank Ragnow also will return for the Lions after missing the Commanders game with a toe injury, and defensive end Aidan Hutchinson is active after being listed as questionable with a bruised thigh.

Hutchinson, who leads the Lions with three sacks, missed practice Wednesday and Thursday but downplayed the extent of his injury in interviews this week.

Left guard Jonah Jackson is out for the second straight game with a finger injury, defensive lineman John Cominsky will not play following thumb surgery and safety Ifeatu Melifonwu, guard Drew Forbes and rookies James Mitchell, Chase Lucas and Demetrius Taylor are inactive for the Lions (1-1).

The Vikings (1-1) are without starting safety Harrison Smith because of a brain injury.
