LAST TIME THEY PLAYED: Isaiah Stewart's blood saved him from bigger trouble after Pistons-Lakers tussle
Game notes: There might be a little more attention on this one than other Pistons games, and that's not just because all-time great LeBron James will be on the floor. It's the first time James and Pistons center Isaiah Stewart will share the court since James struck Stewart in the face during a box-out on Nov. 21, leading to an emotional tussle that caused both players to be suspended. James missed one game and Stewart missed two, returning for the Pistons' loss Friday to the Los Angeles Clippers.
Coming into the game, Detroit has lost five in a row, including the two teams' matchup last Sunday. The Lakers lost Friday night to the Sacramento Kings in triple-overtime. They have won two of their last seven. Next up for the Pistons is a road game Tuesday vs. the Portland Trail Blazers while the Lakers play Tuesday vs. the Kings again.
