Detroit Tigers star Miguel Cabrera is inching toward a pair of immortal baseball milestones.

You can now keep track of his numbers at Comerica Park.

On Tuesday, the Tigers' official Twitter account posted photos of green "Miggy Milestones" scoreboards, erected atop the brick wall in left field near the statues of other Tigers greats.

The "495" stands for how many home runs Cabrera has hit in his career. With five more, he will become the 28th player in major league history to reach 500 and only the second active player to eclipse that mark (Albert Pujols is the other).

The "2,934" stands for the number of base hits in Cabrera's 19-year career. The designated hitter/first baseman is 66 away from 3,000. Only 32 other players have reached that plateau.

This season, Cabrera is hitting .235 with eight home runs and 68 hits in 78 games. He has not hit 13 or more home runs in a season since 2017, when he smashed 16. He has 134 hits just once since 2017, when he had 139 in 136 games in 2019.
