Devil & Angel, a Calif. dessert shop with ice cream boba tea, coming to Fort Worth

A California-based dessert shop appears to have plans to open its first Texas location.

Devil & Angel, a dessert shop that focuses on combining popular items with soft-serve ice cream, boba tea, smoothies and mochi donuts, is opening at 6948 Blue Mound Road near Basswood Boulevard, according to a Fort Worth commercial building permit. The site is in the Victory at Basswood shopping center.

The menu’s soft serve options include cones and cups, as well as ice cream with boba tea or affogado, an Italian coffee-based dessert.

It also includes “croffles” as a hybrid of a croissant and waffle with flavors of powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutella, strawberry and mixed berry. The shop also serves bubble tea smoothies, refreshers, and boba ice cream.

Devil & Angel has 13 locations, according to its website. Most of the shops are in California with one each in Nevada, Colorado and Idaho.

The construction and opening timeline of the new restaurant is unclear.
