Devo to celebrate 50 years of music in Chicago this spring
CHICAGO — Are you ready to travel back in time to the 1980s?
The rock band Devo will bring their “Celebrating 50 Years of De-Evolution Tour” to the Riviera Theatre in Chicago on Saturday, May 11.
The upcoming tour follows the 2023 release of their greatest hits record with the same title that has 50 remastered tracks.

The Grammy Award nominated group broke into the mainstream after the release of their platinum-selling hit song “Whip It” from their 1980 album “Freedom of Choice.”
The Riviera Theatre is located at 4746 N. Racine Ave in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood.
The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 11.
