Devo Davis returns to Arkansas men’s basketball team

FAYETTEVILLE, Ar. (KNWA/KFTA) – Arkansas senior Davonte “Devo” Davis has returned to the men’s basketball team, according to head coach Eric Musselman.

Musselman announced the news on his weekly radio show on Monday night.

“We’re excited to have him back. I think he’s excited to be back with us. He had a good practice today,” Musselman said on the show after saying that Davis and him met on Sunday and had a good conversation.

It was announced that Davis stepped away from the team on Jan. 27 before tipoff between Kentucky and Arkansas.

It is unknown why Davis stepped away from the program, but he did take some time away from the team last season as well.

Davis is averaging 6.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game this season.
