Former NFL wide receiver Dez Bryant wants back in the NFL.

And he would like to make his return with the Arizona Cardinals.

Bryant recently told TMZ Sports that he would like to play with Kyler Murray, Kliff Kingsbury and the Cardinals.

"I would love playing for the Arizona Cardinals," Bryant said. "Kyler (Murray), the coach, I love the swagger over there. I just love the guys, especially DeAndre Hopkins. That’s my boy. We’re real close."

Bryant, 33, last played in the NFL in 2020, when he saw action in six games with the Baltimore Ravens.

He has played in 119 games in his career and has 537 catches for 7,506 yards and 75 touchdowns receiving in his career.

Bryant played eight seasons with the Dallas Cowboys from 2010 to 2017, but missed the 2019 season with an injury and did not sign with any team for 2019.

A 3-time Pro Bowler, Bryant had 88 catches for 1,320 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2014, when he was a first-team All-Pro selection.

Would the Cardinals have room for Bryant?

They already have Hopkins (who was suspended for the first six games of the season by the NFL on Monday), A.J. Green, Marquise Brown and Rondale Moore, as well as Antoine Wesley, Andy Isabella and others.

Bryant told TMZ that he would be willing to play a reduced role in Arizona.

"It’s not even so much about starting," he said. "It’s just being in that locker room and just being a great example."

Would Bryant be a good fit with the Cardinals?
