DHS students receive over $3M in scholarships

May 21—Scholarship donors awarded Duncan graduates with the Class of 2023 over $3 million in scholarships.

The generosity of these donors will provide students with a little extra help as they work toward and pursue their future goals in higher education.

A scholarship assembly took place on Monday, May 2 at New Hope Baptist Church to celebrate each one of the accomplishments and achievements the Class of 2023 experienced over their four years of high school.

Duncan High School's graduating seniors received college scholarships from colleges, universities, clubs and organizations they were involved in.

Scholarships were presented to the students by each individual donor during the assembly.

Tara Cook, DHS Senior Counselor, said they are proud of the hard work and dedication of all the students.
