Traveling Concerts in the Park

The City of Stockton will be hosting a free family-friendly traveling concert in the park the last week of October. The concert is on Friday, Oct. 28 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Dentoni Park on 1430 Royal Oaks Drive in Stockton. Alcohol and drugs are not permitted.

Safe Trick or Treating at the Courthouse Plaza

Safe Trick or Treating is presented by Parents by Choice. Dress up in your Halloween costume for the free family event with candy, raffle prizes and games while learning about resources in the community.

Annual Harvest Carnival

Quail Lakes Baptist Church is celebrating its Annual Harvest Carnival on Friday, Oct. 28. Dress up for the free family event that will have free candy, free train rides, carnival games, free food like nachos, popcorn and deep-fried Oreos. There will also be other foods for purchase.

Iconic View Halloween Trunk or Treat in Trinity Parkway

Back for a second year the annual Halloween Truck or Treat is back to Northside Stockton in Trinity Parkway on Friday, Oct. 28. The event will have costume awards, jumpers, and candy. There will also be a kids and adult costume contest for the scariest costume, most creative costume and best costume.

When: 6-10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28

Dia De Los Muertos Street Fiesta at the Mexican Heritage Center & Gallery

The Mexican Heritage Center & Gallery is celebrating Dia De Los Muertos with a street fiesta. In October, families dedicate altars to loved ones who have passed with their favorite food and favorite things.

The celebration will include Mariachis, Aztec Dancers, a Catrina Pageant, food and more. Shutting down four downtown blocks of Sutter Street and Market Street for the fun.

When: 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29

Astronomy in the Park at Oak Grove Regional Park

Want to see the stars through the lens of a telescope? You can at Oak Grove Regional Park on Saturday, Oct. 29. If the skies are clear, volunteers from the Stockton Astronomical Society will be setting up telescopes for the public to see the wonders of the night sky.

This month you will be able to see: the moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and look for Mercury and Venus at sunset at 6:10 p.m., and at about 8 p.m. the Deep Sky Object M31 (The Andromeda Galaxy) will be visible.

Monster Mash Halloween Bash 2022 at Pixie Woods

Pixie Woods is hosting its annual Monster Mash Halloween Bash. There will be a carousel, a treat bag giveaway and entertainment. The Boat and train ride will not be in operation this year. Children 12-years-old and under wearing costumes enter for free.

Miracle Mile businesses, restaurants, and shops are participating in a trick-or-treat event. Children are welcome to dress up for the event. There will be a "Candy Crawl" from 12-2 p.m. and the Boo-tique Market from 2-6 p.m.

Lodi Hops & Goblins Beerfest

The Lodi Hops & Goblins Beerfest will be full of music, games and beer.

A VIP Tasting ticket feels like a one on one experience with breweries, an hour early admission, unlimited beer tasting, a commemorative beer glass and a special VIP gift. Food is not included.

For the second year, the Port City Pumpkin Patch is open through Oct. 30. Gone Country Night will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, the night will be filled with carnival games, a petting zoo, pony rides and food. There will also be pumpkins for purchase.

Diwali Festival is back this year with Bazaar and cultural performances. An event presented by the American Desi Society. This year's Diwali Festival & Show 2022 will be on Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Ronald E. McNair High School. There will be many kinds of performances from vocal and dance to acting.
