Diamond Custom Homes’ newest Quail West estate now under construction
Luxury homebuilder Diamond Custom Homes has announced the commencement of construction for a 7,226 total square foot custom estate home at 6647 Edgecumbe Dr. in Quail West Golf & Country Club.
The four-bedroom, four full and two half-bath estate home is designed by Stofft Cooney Architects, LLC, with interior design by Adriene Ged of EDGE and landscape architecture by Outside Productions, Inc. The residence, located on one of the few remaining homesites in Quail West, is one of 11 projects by Diamond Custom Homes in various stages of planning and construction within the community.

A semi-circular driveway of tri-color pavers will lead to the home’s front entrance, with a black metal iron door, fountains flanking the entry, and turf detail in the front of the home. The driveway and front entrance will feature a trellised motor court and two-car garages with black metal garage doors on the home’s east and west sides. The home’s exterior will feature natural limestone cladding.
Indoors, the custom estate home is designed to be very livable and comfortable, with clean lines and unique materials, mixed metals and a matte black and gold color palette. The home will include 4,883 air-conditioned square feet in an open great room layout highlighted by vaulted ceilings with decorative beams and wood paneling detail, and matching cabinetry by EDGE™. The main entry will open to the foyer, great room, kitchen, and guest suites. Inside the foyer to the left will be the master suite with vaulted ceilings; a separate, spacious study with a powder bath highlighted by a black and gold vessel sink, and stone cladding on the walls; master bath featuring natural stone cladding and gold plumbing; dual sinks, freestanding tub and walk-in shower; dual walk-in closets, and covered terrace overlooking the pool and outdoor living areas. The study will be outfitted with navy cabinetry.
Inside the entry to the right will be the great room, bar, dining room and kitchen with walk-in pantry and serving station/bar pass-through which will transition to and from the great room. Located off the great room will be a bar with black cabinetry and glass-fronted doors with blonde wood interiors. The kitchen will include a large, wood, butcher block peninsula with matte gold frame and black cabinets, connected to the kitchen island. A small business center with desk will be located to the side. The kitchen, with Sub-Zero® and Wolf® appliances, will be highlighted by custom cabinetry in white with blonde wood accents; a custom, black range hood with strapping details complementing the plumbing and hardware. The t-shaped kitchen island design will feature a natural stone and walnut countertop with a custom brass support leg. The dining room will be highlighted by a coffee bar with warm wood-stained cabinets and flooring.
Off the kitchen and dining room will be the summer kitchen, outdoor living areas, pool bath, pool and spa; to the right of the kitchen will be two guest suites and a spacious guest casita with morning bar. The oversized outdoor living area will be accessible from the master suite, study, great room, dining room, and VIP guest suite. The outdoor living area will be highlighted by turf detail, a black metal pergola, conversation areas and outdoor fireplace with stone cladding, as well as a pool and spa.
The estate will serve as the private residence of Diamond Custom Homes President Michael Diamond. Completion is anticipated in fall 2022.
