WORCESTER — The former Diamond Inn bar is changing hands for the second time in two years after a recent sale closed this month for over $1 million.

An entity registered to Joshua Therrien, property specialist and real estate investor with Prestige Property Management LLC, bought 267-275 Grafton St. in a deal closed Jan. 10, according to the Worcester South Registry of Deeds.

Diamond Inn the Rough bar was sold in 2020 for $900,000 and renamed Beths' on Grafton Hill after the Diamond Inn owners sold the two adjacent properties in 2020. Above the buildings' storefronts, 11 housing units sit on the property as well.

The bar at the base of Grafton Hill is the same spot where two people were killed in a shooting last month. Police responded to a report of a shooting at 2 a.m. Dec. 8, 2021, where two men had been shot outside 271 Grafton St. and pronounced dead after being taken to a nearby hospital.

Along with a change in management, Beths' underwent an interior remodeling to breathe new life into the bar.

The new owner has not announced further plans for the property.
