(FOX40.COM) — It’s been almost a month since Deadline reported that Warner Brothers is beginning production on an “untitled film” in Northern California that is set to star Leonardo DiCaprio.

Now, new details are coming out about the project, which is currently being referred to as the “BC Project,” and features Regina Hall (“Girls Trip,” “Think Like a Man”) and Sean Penn (“Milk,” “Mystic River”) alongside DiCaprio. The film is also set to be directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

California news outlet SFGate spoke with people in Eureka, located in Humboldt County, near where filming for the movie has begun to take place.

“It’s fun to serve the crew members when they come in for lunch and rub shoulders with Hollywood people,” said Katelyn Ramirez, an employee of a restaurant near the filming location.

Lost Coast Outpost, a Facebook page that describes itself as a free media outlet for Humboldt County, posted a picture of DiCaprio, who seems to be in character for his role in the movie, to their site on Monday.

“There’s Leo! In Eureka! At Murphy’s Market!” Lost Coast Outpost said. DiCaprio can be seen modeling a handlebar mustache with a beanie, grey shirt, and a robe-like garment.

DiCaprio, who was born in Los Angeles, is coming off of the success of his most recent film “Killers of the Flower Moon” while Sean Penn, who was born in Santa Monica, California, most recently appeared in Patricia Arquette’s directorial debut, “Gonzo Girl.”

Rebecca Gomez, a resident of Arcata, which is another Northern California city where portions of the movie were shot, said, “I love this area, and I’m pretty excited to see my neighborhood in a movie.”
