Dickinson Mustang postseason halted by bad weather but resumes today

Jun. 28—DICKINSON — Weather has been playing havoc with sports this week throughout the city of Dickinson, whether it's the American Legion schedule at Astoria Field, softball for the Dickinson Diamonds at Fisher Industries Sports Complex or at the Mustang Sports Complex. But some games were played on Tuesday, June 27 with others resuming action on Wednesday to ensure the seasons close in orderly fashion.

In the 11-12 age group were Roers/ND Pharmacy vs. Lucky's, which will resume at 4 p.m. today, but all the other games will be hosted in their entirety, including Chatter Pediatric/Logo Magic vs. Kovash & Dasovick at 5:45 p.m. and Baker Boy/Braun Distributing vs. Home & Land/4 Seasons at 4:30.

In the 9-10 bracket 1 games, Back in Balance Wellness will resume their game with Price Agency at 4 p.m. and the winner of that game will face Blue Hawk Audio thereafter. Stevenson Funeral/Bosch Lumber will play Steffes at 5:45 and the losers' bracket game will be at 7 p.m. In bracket 2, West & Co./Highlands Eng. will be playing Dickinson Optimist/Country House at 8:15 p.m. in the losers' bracket with Dakota Comm. Bank/McDonalds facing Simnionow Family Chiropractic for the championship on Thursday at 8:30 p.m.

In the 7-8 age group bracket 1, Consolidated/Sax Motors will resume their game with Hoss Rentals at 4:30 p.m. today and CDB Construction will face Martin Construction at 5 p.m. In bracket 2, Coca-Cola topped Dan Porter Motors 11-1 on Tuesday afternoon.
