The Virginia man whose political action committee sent campaign literature containing images from two books banned for sexual content in the Central Bucks School District is claiming a major office supply company has canceled his online mailbox less than a month before Election Day.

Bob Salera told Fox Business News that Staples has banned him after the Stop Bucks Extremism PAC he founded mailed thousands of registered voters in Central Bucks mailers that contained illustrations from “This Book is Gay” and “Gender Queer,” two LGBTQ-themed books recently removed in the district under its library materials policy.

In an email Wednesday, Salera said the Staples' decision would not deter him.

"Stop Bucks Extremism will not allow a woke office supply company to interfere in our election efforts and will continue our voter education campaign," he said.

What does Stop Bucks Extremism's Bob Salera’s claim

Salera said that his online mailbox was deactivated over allegations that he violated the company’s user agreement policy when he out the mailers in September and October with claims that Democrat school board candidates are pushing for children to access inappropriate sexually explicit material in school libraries.

Salera told Fox the company told him that "many people" complained because they were "highly upset" over the content of the mailers.  Five open school board seats are up for election in November in what has become a bitter and contentious race.

On Wednesday Salera said on his "Stop Bucks Extremism” website that Staples is attempting to “silence conservative voices.”

What does Staples say about the claims

Staples did not respond to requests from Fox News.  The company also did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment from this news organization sent on Wednesday morning.

What is Stop Bucks Extremism PAC

Salera, a Virginia resident, said he launched the PAC in July after he was approached by “concerned Central Bucks residents” who support the current GOP-majority board, which has faced widespread public scrutiny over policy decisions that some contend harm students who identify as LGBTQ and other marginalized groups.

Salera is a former political strategist for the National Republican Congressional Committee and president and sole employee of "Landslide Strategies," an advertising and marketing consulting business.

The PAC’s treasurer, Doug T. Rickards, has served as a treasurer for multiple GOP candidates and the Republican Party of Pennsylvania.

The PAC is not backing a specific candidate and it plans to operate "indefinitely," according to its registration, though Salera said it is currently only involved in the Central Bucks School Board race.

The PAC’s first expenditure report is due to be filed Oct. 27.
