Who did the ESPN CollegeGameDay hosts pick in today's Georgia Bulldogs vs. Tennessee Volunteers game?

With ESPN College GameDay on hand at the Myers Quad on the University of Georgia's campus for today's game with Tennessee, the only question of what you could hear from Lumpkin Street is whether it would be boos or cheers.

At first, it was booing, but with guest picker Luke Bryan on hand, the noise quickly became very loud cheers.

Bryan, the popular country singer and judge on American Idol, is a huge Georgia Bulldogs fan, and he was the lone voice picking the Bulldogs today. The other hosts, Desmond Howard, Kirk Herbstreit and Pat McAfee, all picked Tennessee.

Herbstreit's reasoning for taking the Volunteers stemmed from him picking the wrong team in their big games twice before: "When they played Florida, I picked the Gators, and Tennessee won. When they played Alabama, I picked Alabama, and Tennessee won. Today, I'm picking Tennessee."

But Bryan brought up visions of Bulldog wins past, referring to the "hobnail boot" touchdown in 2002 where Verron Haynes caught a game-winning touchdown pass in a 26-24 win over the Volunteers. Announcer Larry Munson said of Haynes' catch: "We just stepped on their face with a hobnail boot and broke their nose! We just crushed their face!”

"We're gonna step on their faces," Bryan yelled. "We're gonna crush their dreams with a hobnail boot!"

The ESPN GameDay crew was without Lee Corso, who is still recuperating from a health issue.
