How did former Ohio State QB and ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit do against Michigan?

While Kirk Herbstreit has attended many Ohio State football wins against Michigan as a member of ESPN's "College GameDay," the former Buckeye quarterback didn't see much success against the Wolverines himself.
Herbstreit played for Ohio State from 1988-92, backing up quarterback Greg Frey before splitting time with quarterback Kent Graham in 1991 and becoming the full-time starter in 1992.

But in those five seasons, Ohio State did not beat Michigan, tying the Wolverines once in 1992.
Kirk Herbstreit appeared in two Ohio State vs. Michigan games
Herbstreit appeared in two editions of "The Game," splitting time with Graham in the Buckeyes' 31-3 loss in 1991 before leading Ohio State to a 13-13 tie against Michigan in 1992.
In 1991, Herbstreit led the Buckeyes in passing against the Wolverines, recording 82 passing yards while completing eight of his 11 pass attempts. He also added five rushing yards on four carries.
As Ohio State's sole starting quarterback in 1992, Herbstreit recorded 271 passing yards and one 5-yard touchdown pass to Greg Beatty against Michigan, completing 28 of his 46 pass attempts and adding 12 rushing yards on 10 carries.

In four seasons with Ohio State, not including his 1988 redshirt season, Herbstreit recorded 2,437 passing yards with a 56.7% completion rate, throwing five touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
