Did you hear the wind? Here are the places in Vermont that got the strongest gusts.

Parts of northern Vermont saw some pretty powerful wind gusts toward the end of the weekend on Feb. 20.

Sunday was predicted to be a windy day for the area, and as expected, those winds reached a crescendo during the evening, according to the National Weather Service in Burlington. High wind gusts were reported in Addison, Chittenden, Franklin, Grand Isle and Orleans counties.

So, which parts of the state saw the highest wind gusts? Here are the top 10 as of Sunday night:

1. Colchester Reef

56 mph, recorded at 5:20 p.m.

2. Jay

51 mph, recorded at 8:04 p.m.

3. Fairfax

50 mph, recorded at 7:10 p.m.

4. Burlington International Airport (South Burlington)

48 mph, recorded at 6:44 p.m.

5. Williston

46 mph, recorded at 7:50 p.m.

6. Diamond Island

45 mph, recorded at 7 p.m.

7. Grand Isle

45 mph, recorded at 6:27 p.m.
