Did Prince George secretly reveal Baby Sussex's name back in January?

Prince George has a new cousin and he might be stealing his name.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry finally revealed the name of their firstborn on Wednesday, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, hours after he introduced to the world in St. George's chapel.

However, the name Archie sounds all too familiar.

Back in January, Prince George made headlines for telling a dog walker that his name was Archie, sparking debate whether it was a family nickname or just a cute name the 5-year-old gave himself.

“I was asked by a police minder not to take a photo of the children, which I didn’t, but George started stroking my dog. Just to be friendly I engaged in a bit of small talk and I asked George what his name was, even though obviously I knew it," the women explained to The Sun.

"To my astonishment he said ‘I’m called Archie’ with a big smile on his face. I don’t know why he calls himself Archie but kids often play with their names and I think it’s lovely.”

The Cut notes that possibly royal children are told "not give a stranger his actual information. Thus, the dupe says he is 'Archie.'"

Baby Sussex is seventh-in-line to the throne, behind dad Prince Harry, and is the fourth grandchild for Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall. Along with Prince George, Archie also counts Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis as cousins.
