United Launch Alliance launched an Atlas V rocket and Space Force payload from Florida at 6:29 this morning.
The 194-foot rocket took a ballistic missile warning satellite, known as SBIRS GEO-6, on an eastern trajectory after its liftoff from Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Clear skies allowed Floridians to get some impressive pictures of the rocket sailing over the Florida coast on its way to outer space.

Didn’t make the launch site this morning for the launch of the Atlas rocket but this is from our house in Haines City. First one I have seen in daylight and a dawn launch really is spectacular. Hope SpaceX goes up tonight as we will be at Kennedy for it pic.twitter.com/nsLyIWeSaz

As much as I'd like to be on the space coast for this Florida double header, it's nice that I can still see some of the launches from Tallahassee(260 miles away).
