After months of drawing and watching the jackpot reach new heights, someone — or more than one — can lay claim to the Powerball jackpot worth an estimated $1.765 billion with a cash option of $774.1 million. The winning ticket was sold in California ahead of the Wednesday night Powerball jackpot drawing.

The name of the lucky winner, or winners, has not been released as of Thursday at 8 a.m. But California is not one of the states where lotto winners can remain anonymous.

Powerball winning numbers Oct. 11, 2023

The winning numbers for Wednesday night's drawing were 22, 24, 40, 52, 64, and the Powerball is 10. The Power Play was 2X.

Did anyone win Powerball last night, Wednesday, Oct. 11?

Yes. According to the California Lottery, a single winning ticket was sold that matched all six numbers worth an estimated $1.765 billion with a cash option of $774.1 million.

There were also plenty of other winners Wednesday as well.

Seven tickets purchased in California (two), Florida (two), New York, Oklahoma and Virginia won $1 million. Two tickets sold in Arizona and Pennsylvania won for $2 million. There were also 121 tickets that won $50,000 prizes, and 24 tickets that won $100,000 prizes, according to Powerball.

  • If you match at least one number in the Powerball drawing, you win a prize.
