Aug. 10—Raise 'em up, because the beers are on Dierks.

Country superstar Dierks Bentley pulls into Northeast Pennsylvania on Saturday, Aug. 13, at 7 p.m. for his Beers on Me Tour stop at the Pavilion at Montage Mountain, 1000 Montage Mountain Road, Scranton. Joining Bentley are Ashley McBryde and Travis Denning. Tickets start at $20, plus fees, and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com or 800-745-3000.

Bentley has been a staple of the modern country music scene since the mid-'00s, and top singles include "What Was I Thinkin'," "Come a Little Closer," "Feel That Fire," "Sideways," "Somewhere on a Beach" and "Beers on Me." A country music hit machine, Bentley has seen more than two dozen of his singles climb the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts. Seventeen of those singles have reached No. 1.

While on the road recently, the musician released his newest single, "Gold," which will appear on Bentley's upcoming 10th album, a follow up to 2019's "The Mountain." While no date or title have been announced for the project, due for early 2023, Bentley gave his fans a little taste of what's to come with "Gold," a bright, jangling, country-rock song. He filmed the video for the song backstage while on the road.

The Beers on Me Tour started back in 2021. Bentley began the initial run by getting back to his roots, playing smaller clubs before taking on the outdoor amphitheaters he's used to headlining. It was a way to shake up his act and keep himself and fans on their toes after playing music for the past two decades.

"For me, it's Tetris. Just finding the right flow, changing it up from the years before," Bentley told Rolling Stone magazine. "I just think about those people, those hardcore fans down front that have seen 10 shows last year or the last time you were on tour and they can tell the same segues. That makes me self-conscious, if I do something I've already done before. I feel like I'm cheating them out of a new show."
