UKEE WASHINGTON: I'm Ukee Washington with your evening digital news brief for Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting in the Lehigh Valley. Two people were left dead, including the gunman. The violence unfolded at a Wawa convenience store in Upper Macungie.

Police say 45-year-old Za Uk Lian shot and killed a truck driver from Allentown. A second man was shot while sitting in his Jeep. He survived. Police also say a woman's car was hit by a bullet, but this took place several miles away along Route 22 near Cedar Crest Boulevard. Police say Lian committed suicide on Route 100. Investigators are looking for a motive in this case.

With more people getting vaccinated, the next question is when will places eventually fully reopen? Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf laid out when he thinks life could return to normal.

TOM WOLF: Because we don't really know what the right goal is, I think the general idea is that somewhere around 65% or 70% of the population getting both doses-- two weeks after that, you have herd immunity.

UKEE WASHINGTON: We are still a ways off from that. About 44% of eligible adults in Pennsylvania have received the first dose of the vaccine, but only about 26% of the state is fully vaccinated. "Eyewitness News" was at a clinic today where shots were being given at Mercy Life West Philadelphia. Seniors had a chance to get the Moderna vaccine. This week's clinic is one in a series at the center to vaccinate the local senior community.

The Atlantic County vaccine megasite at the Atlantic City Convention Center welcomed walk-ins for a few hours this afternoon. The site will also take walk-ins tomorrow and Friday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. People 16 and older are eligible. Those under 18 must be accompanied, though, by a parent or guardian.
