From Digital Spy

Digital Spy's magazine sequel is here, but it's not just more explosions and CGI, oh no. We've got even more from The Boys, who are back in town for season 2 of Amazon Prime Video's best show.

You can read the issue for free with an Apple News+ free trial, just click this way.

On Apple News+, you'll also get our premiere issue and every magazine around for nothing with the free trial. Cool, right? All-you-can-eat magazines. Just don't actually eat them, OK?

You voted The Boys as one of your favourite breakthrough shows of 2019 in our Reader Awards, so we listened, and ensured we gave you A-list access to the very best superhero show of 2020.

First up, we've got another amazing animated cover featuring not-so-super-man, Homelander by Sean Longmore. Then we've got interviews with the entire cast, along with our review, and a key fan theory on mysterious fan favourite Black Noir.

After all those movie delays due to *gestures broadly at the world*, we've compiled all the cinema releases you'll care about in 2021, including some custom fan art from Neil Davies.

Speaking of delayed movies, we've FINALLY got to reveal our set visit for The New Mutants from way back in 2017 (!), featuring interviews with Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy and big boss man, Josh Boone, as the movie is finally set to release.

Yep, we can't quite believe it, either.

Plus more Marvel magic, as we break down the plans for Phase 4, featuring fan art from Ashley A. Woods, and the details on how the MCU might have already introduced its first mutant – did you spot them?

There's even more Maisie Williams further into the issue, as we chat to her about new doomsday Sky comedy Two Weeks to Live, which, ironically, is giving us life right now.

Then we've got interviews with Jonathan Majors from HBO's Lovecraft Country, and a recap on how the TV industry is responding to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Deeper into the issue, we recap all of the twisty-turn spy plot you'll need to remember from Daniel Craig's Bond era ahead of No Time to Die, and an interview with the original princesses from Bill and Ted, ahead of Bill and Ted: Face the Music. Most excellent.

But that's not all. We've got over 25 chunky features, videos and interactive articles all waiting for you once the magazine launches today (Friday, August 28) – just in time for a bank holiday weekend binge, eh?
