Dillon Brooks' Friday was far from fun. He was fined $35,000 by the NBA after shoving a camera person during the Memphis Grizzlies' loss to the Miami Heat on Wednesday.

It ended on a better note as Brooks played a key role in the Grizzlies' largest comeback in franchise history. Brooks forced overtime with a 3-pointer with 1.8 seconds left in regulation and then hit a 3-pointer with 1:05 left in overtime to help seal the 126-120 win at the San Antonio Spurs.

The Grizzlies trailed by 29 points in the third quarter and were down 109-100 with one minute left in regulation. Desmond Bane and Luke Kennard each hit 3-pointers. That set up Brooks' heroics as Kennard grabbed a late jump ball before finding Brooks in the corner for a wide-open shot.

Brooks' final 3-pointer in overtime came from nearly the same spot as Bane found him wide-open and Brooks' shot made 124-120.

The Grizzlies had the largest playoff comeback in franchise history last season when they rallied from 26 points down against the Minnesota Timberwolves. This one was greater and Brooks, who had 16 points, had his hands in it when it was needed most.

Brooks has struggled most of the season finding his shot and keeping his temper. Entering Friday, he's lost $248,242 from two fines and two one-game suspensions. He'll earn another fine after he and Spurs forward Zach Collins earned double technical fouls in the fourth quarter.

The technical foul was Brooks' 17th of the season, which leads the NBA and carries an automatic $5,000 fine. Every technical foul Brooks gets now comes with that fine and his next one also brings another one-game suspension.

The Grizzlies (42-27) return home Saturday to face the Golden State Warriors.
