UCF quarterback Dillon Gabriel announced Monday night that he's transferring to the OU football program.

Gabriel's announcement came hours after OU quarterback Caleb Williams entered the transfer portal.

Gabriel, who rushed for eight touchdowns and threw for 8,037 yards and 70 touchdowns with 14 interceptions in three seasons for the Knights, has a relationship with new Sooners offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby, who was UCF’s quarterback coach and offensive coordinator in 2019 when Gabriel was a freshman.

Gabriel threw for 814 yards and nine touchdowns with three interceptions this season before fracturing his left clavicle Sept. 17 against Louisville.

The Mililani, Hawaii, native announced his decision to transfer in mid-November before announcing his decision to head to UCLA in mid-December.
