Prairie Meadows' steakhouse is serving a three-course menu on Christmas Day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Diners have their pick of offerings including main dishes such as a filet mignon or a grilled Portobello mushrooms alongside desserts like a flourless chocolate tarte and pecan pie with bourbon whipped cream.
Adult meals are $55 per person, and children age 11 and under eat for $18.

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar
Fleming's signature Christmas Eve meal is first served starting at 4 p.m. A three- to four-course meal, which will be released in the coming days, will be served alongside the steakhouses’ regular menu. Favorites at Fleming’s include a selection of wine for sipping and a slew of premium Prime steaks. The restaurant is not open on Christmas Day.

The Hotel Fort Des Moines’ popular fine dining restaurant Proudfoot & Bird will be open regular hours on Christmas Eve with select Christmas Day availability from 4 to 8 p.m. in the city’s downtown area near Nationwide. A Christmas-themed menu is yet to be released by the restaurant but will be posted with updates on the restaurant’s website.
