WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue University's Memorial Union Club Hotel has been transformed into a winter wonderland, including the addition of outdoor dining from the comfort of heated, custom-decorated igloos on the hotel’s patio.

The igloos, designed to seat eight diners comfortably, are available through February, according to the hotel, and feature several themes – Winter Wonderland, Purdue Pride and Spirit of the West. Reservations are filling up, but spots are still available.

Diners can enjoy the 8Eleven Bistro's full menu, as well as the option of a “gathering menu” – cheese boards, charcuterie boards and appetizers, according to the hotel.

Reservations can be made online and pricing for the experience begins at $100.

Boilermakers on your Christmas list may be happy to find some of the hotel's merchandize under the tree this year, including a popular item guests might see in their rooms – a pillow featuring the Purdue seal.

“The holiday season is a particularly special time at the hotel and this year we’re taking our offerings to the next level,” said Wicks. “The embroidered pillow is one of the most requested items at the hotel, and for the first time it is available for purchase.”
