Dinner Dollars: How to save $10 at your favorite downtown Columbus restaurants this winter
Eating out or ordering carryout from a local restaurant? You might be able to save $10.
This winter, the Columbus Downtown Development Corp. is distributing Dinner Dollar vouchers for $10 off a meal of your choice at several downtown Columbus restaurants. The vouchers are distributed on Wednesday and Thursday from 4-5 p.m. and can then be redeemed at participating restaurants from 4-7 p.m.
The vouchers can’t be used on any orders that include alcohol. They must be picked up in person and used in person, no online orders are permitted – but carryout counts. You must be 18 years old to claim a voucher.
Downtown Columbus distributes 300 tickets per week and says it's best to pick up a voucher right at 4 p.m. while supplies last.
Vouchers are distributed at three pick up locations:
Capital Crossroads and Discovery SIDs: 23 N 4th St.
Experience Columbus Visitor Center: 277 W Nationwide Blvd #125
Lazarus Building: 50 W Town St.
The vouchers can be redeemed at over 30 downtown Columbus restaurants, including: 4th & State, Barrel & Bore, Brezel, Brioso, Colo Butcher & Deli, Colo Market & Oyster Bar, Creole 2 Geaux, Dirty Frank's Hot Dog Palace, Dos Hermanos, Firdous Express, Flavors of India, Fox's Bagel & Deli, Goodwood, The Hills Market Downtown, Hot Chicken Takeover, House Taco, Hoyo's Kitchen, Hubert's Polish Kitchen, Little West Tavern, Matt and Tony's Kitchen & Tavern, Milestone 229, Momo Ghar Market, Nida's Thai on High, Pastaria, Pat and Gracie's Kitchen & Tavery, Pierogi Mountain, Rishi Sushi, Ringside Cafe, Sarefino's, Satori Ramen Bar, Schokko Curated Cuisine, Tajine House, Tasty Dawg, Vine & Forge, Willowbeez, and Wolf's Ridge Brewing.
Downtown Columbus says residents should tip on the full price of their meals without the vouchers – after all, the point is to support local businesses, the organization states.
Dinner Dollars mirrors a popular Columbus Downtown Development Corp. lunch promotion called LunchBucks, which launched in June 2022 with about a dozen participating restaurants recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
