Cincinnati restaurateur Jeff Ruby has offered his help to the Reds in trying to get free agent Nick Castellanos to stay in town.

Ruby tweeted out a picture of an Enquirer headline that read "Club extends qualifying offer to Castellanos." Ruby tried to sweeten the deal by tweeting Tuesday:

I raise that offer to include dinner on me at our 3 Cincinnati restaurants the entire year.

The three Cincinnati restaurants are Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse, The Precinct and Carlo & Johnny.

While it remains to be seen if that would actually entice the All-Star outfielder to stay in Cincinnati, it certainly would have convinced a couple former Reds.

"I’ll sign that deal!" ex-Reds closer Danny Graves tweeted.

"If you would have told me that I’d still be a Red love you big dog," former Reds slugger Todd Frazier replied.
