McCONNELSVILLE − Dion Pride, son of country music legend Charley Pride, will perform at 6 p.m. Saturday, at the Twin City Opera House, 15 W. Main St., McConnelsville. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Dion has performed before for the Ohio Valley Opry, which has been providing entertainment to the area for more than 22 years.

Dion carries on the family tradition of bringing energy to the stage and has his father’s way of making everyone feel connected to his performance. Om Saturday, Dion will share stories and songs of his dad on the very night of Charley’s birthday.

Making his first appearance on the OVO will also be local singer Dylan Mayle. He has grown up with music in the background of all of his family memories, but it wasn’t until recently that he learned to play guitar. Since then, he has been honing his skills while singing locally with family and friends.

Also appearing will be The Clark Family of Marvin, Deana, David and Jada, along with Mike Morrison, Beth Bigham, Matt Coleman and the OVO staff band.

Tickets are $18, $20 and $25 and can be purchased online at OhioValleyOpry.com or by calling the box office at 740-525-9218.
