To commemorate its one-year anniversary, Le Bilboquet this weekend will introduce Libation 21, a bergamot liqueur-spiked cocktail.

To commemorate its one-year anniversary, Le Bilboquet is featuring a swizzled sipper that will be given complimentary to patrons at the Worth Avenue restaurant during lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday.

The special cocktail — blended via a mixing technique known as swizzling — is called Libation 21. It’s the brainchild of Le Bilboquet’s mixologist Benjamin Wood.

The drink’s leading ingredient is Italicus, a liqueur made from bergamot and other botanicals. Lemon oil, sparkling wine and Peychaud’s bitters also figure into the recipe before an edible orchid and pineapple fronds are added as garnish.

“This drink is an homage to the island of Palm Beach, its rich history and the sweet future that lies ahead,” Wood said. “It’s a light, luxurious, celebratory and easy-to-drink concoction that embraces the past and gazes toward the future.”

After this weekend, Libation 21 will be available at Le Bilboquet as an off-the-menu special for $26 throughout February.

Le Bilboquet, in Worth Avenue’s Via Encantada, debuted on Jan. 30, 2021.

Not long after, the restaurant, which offers both indoor and al fresco seating, added lunch and weekend brunch.

Breakfast service will resume at Le Bilboquet on Feb. 16 after its launch in November was cut short because the restaurant didn’t then have the town’s permission. The Town Council on Jan. 21 granted a special-exception request and site-plan approval that now allows Le it to serve breakfast.

Le Bilboquet Palm Beach is part of renowned New York restaurateur Philippe Delgrange’s Bilboquet Group, which also includes locations in Manhattan, Sag Harbor, Atlanta, Denver and Dallas.

Known as Bilbo among its loyal clientele, Le Bilboquet’s first location along Manhattan’s Upper East side debuted in 1986 as a 17-table venue.
