Two James Beard Award semifinalists and Bravo "Top Chef" alums — including one who formerly led a Palm Beach restaurant’s culinary team — are headlining an upcoming dinner event.

Chefs Jeremy Ford and Lindsay Autry will prepare a five-course wine-paired dinner on Aug. 2 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens.

Seating is limited to 100 people for the event, a Friends of James Beard Benefit co-hosted by Discover the Palm Beaches, the tourism marketing organization of Palm Beach County.

Tickets/reservations must be secured by July 29.

The dinner kicks off the Palm Beaches Restaurant Month (palmbeachesdining.com) with 130-plus participating county eateries serving specially priced menus and other offers throughout August.

Autry, a finalist on the ninth season of "Top Chef," is a three-time James Beard Award nominee for work at her West Palm Beach restaurant, The Regional. Her newest dining establishment is Honeybelle at PGA National. From 2009-2011, Autry was executive chef at a Michelle Bernstein restaurant at the former Omphoy hotel in Palm Beach.

Ford, known for his win on "Top Chef" season 13, is executive chef and partner at The Butcher’s Club at PGA National. He recently received a Michelin star and James Beard Award nomination for his work at his Miami restaurant, Stubborn Seed.

Tickets are $195 a person. The event begins at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour.

Proceeds benefit the James Beard Foundation and Feeding South Florida.
