Disney announces collaboration with Allure Bridal to launch princess-inspired wedding gowns

Disney wedding dresses — need we say more?

Allure Bridal will be launching a Disney Fairy Tale Weddings collection, the company and Disney announced Friday.

The collection will feature 16 different designs that are inspired by Disney princesses like Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Tiana, and Snow White.

Spoiler: Yes, Ariel's gown is a mermaid-style dress.

"So many brides grow up admiring their favorite Disney Princess characters and are inspired by their journeys, gowns and stories of the classic films," Kelly Crum, Allure's CEO wrote in a statement shared on the brand's website.

The official Instagram account for Disney weddings shared a few photos of the sketches of the designs for Ariel, Belle and Princess Tiana's dresses.

The wedding gowns will be available shortly after April when Allure will unveil the entire collection during New York Bridal Fashion Week.

Seven of the 16 gowns will be sold exclusively at Kleinfeld Bridal in New York and Toronto as part of the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Platinum Collection and will be priced between $3,500 to $10,000.

The rest of the Disney Fairy Tale collection dresses are priced at $1,200 to $2,500 and will be available at select boutique bridal stores across the U.S.

The Disney-inspired wedding dresses are possibly the last piece missing from the ideal Disney wedding, which you can have at both Disneyland and Disney World theme parks.

Disney World offers 49 wedding venues, from the Tree of Life to the Tower of Terror. That’s not even counting the courtyards, terraces and pavilions. Couples exchange vows at Disneyland in a lavishly decorated ballroom or a charming garden.

And in August 2016, Florida's Disney World announced that couples can now plan their wedding ceremonies inside the Magic Kingdom at the park's East Plaza Garden.
